Working Together
We have created a Parish Community Hub to build up a sense of wellbeing in the local community. The St Mark’s Parish Community Hub brings together organisations to use our facilities for their unique contributions to making Teddington a great place to live and bring up our families.
We hold regular meetings of the leaders of the organisations to see how we can help each other and work together. We are very grateful that our local Ward Councillors have been part of this and help us to connect with other organsiations and projects. If you want to meet them they are here on the first Wednesday of the month in their ward surgery.
The Parish of St Mark’s Teddington contains several schools and sports clubs and the church and its grounds stand in the middle. The church has been reordered to enable it to be used as a shared space for worship and community use. Several organisations now use the church building including Scouts, St John Ambulance, Baby Ballet, Ward Councillors, local beekeepers and children’s parties. Since 2022 Sheddington have restructured the hall and now use it for practical activities. Our space can be hired via our Bookings page.
